Massimo Martello Recently arrived in London from the north (anyone know where that is?) Massimo has been busy on the local circuit and and has just been told that one of his songs 'Sinners in the Synagogue' is going to be used on the soundtrack of a film called 'Angel wing' which is written and directed by Aidan wood and stars Nick Aaron (lead in Touching The Void)
Lee Gordon Lee Gordon's music is his life and soul. To see him play is taking a journey into the passionate, raw and emotive songs that he writes. www.leegordon.co.uk
Bruise Self taught and self educated, Isobel Morris writes songs with great spirit and intuitive feel, propelled by the driving groove of Jim Kimberley. Their music is both compelling and emotional with something insidiously persuasive about them, like magicians - a little bit Patti Smith, a little Nico, but then again something altogether different. www.bruisemusic.co.uk
Mother Nature's Suns Knockout performance! Smooth funky/jazzy vibe with elements of rock n' soul.
Singer/Songwriter Derek Walker has been playing the
London open mic
Underdog Hailing from Maldon in Essex, Underdog are a 5 piece 'indie' band, writing all their own material. Three of the band (singer/guitarist-backing singer/guitarist) perform acoustically and it is these three performing tonight. They have played gigs locally to great reactions, and now also gig in London, where they are being asked back to do full showcase acoustic gigs. www.underdogtheband.co.uk
Jon Bilbrough Brilliant singer songwriter plays his own compositions which are intelligent and melodic, performed with an edginess that puts him in a class of his own. www.jonbilbrough.com
Taff Excellent singer/songwriter frech from recent performances at the Acoustic Lounge and West One Fair
Bill Hurley and the Enforcers East End legend Bill delivers his unique renderings of soul, blues and plain old rock 'n' roll!
Urban Dove
ATM/BAFTA New Music award winners and BRIT nominees, Angel
and Jumiah play exceptional music. Imagine Massive Attack meets Alanis Morissette,
and you wouldn't be a
million miles away from what they do. Definitely not to be missed.
